Covid Update

We hope this notice finds you, your family and those you love and care about in good health. Our community and our world, for that matter, have been through a lot over the past few months. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your dental health, overall health and your safety.

We are pleased to announce we are now open-not only for emergency patients, but for routine dental care also. If we have not reached out to you and you are ready to schedule your appointment, please call our office.

Infection control has always been a top priority for us. As a result of the recent pandemic, we have modified our practice operations to reflect this. The list below are some of the changes we will be implementing:

*When contacted or contacting us to make an appointment you will be asked to go to our website (www.lawndentalcenter.com) and fill out 2 online forms, a PATIENT INFORMATION FORM and a COVID-19 SCREENING FORM. You will find these by clicking on the MENU BUTTON, then PATIENTS & finally PATIENT FORMS. For your convenience these forms can be filled out right online.

*You will be asked to call our office (773-523-0700) when you arrive, if possible, park in the rear parking lot and when your treatment room is ready a staff member will come out to get you. Only the patient receiving treatment is allowed in the treatment room, unless the patient is a minor under 18 years old. We will no longer be using our waiting room.

*Please wear a mask in our office until the doctor or assistant asks you to remove it.

*Your temperature will be taken, you will be asked to wash your hands and rinse and gargle with a special mouth rinse.

*Plexiglass barriers are in place at the checkout counter.

*Air purification systems have been installed.

*Staff will be wearing additional PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

*Common surfaces like door knobs and handles are being disinfected throughout the day.

*Appointments will be managed for social distancing between patients. As a result, fewer patients are being seen daily and you might be offered fewer options for scheduling your appointments. We ask that you please give us at least 2 business days notification if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment so we many contact another patient on our waiting list.

Please know that the many modifications that have been implemented are to protect both our patients and our staff. We thank you for your patience, understanding and loyalty. We look forward to seeing you soon.
